I was lucky enough to get yet another long vacation to Chennai within 3 months. My brother got married, my son has aged 300% in 3 months, I got to spend lots of time at home, I was never so reluctant to leave Chennai.

Although overshadowed by numerous other temple towns in Tamilnadu, there is no dearth of temples in the capital Chennai. Mylapore and Triplicane (Thiruvallikeni) pre-date the city itself as historic temples towns.
