Virginia Water

Virginia Water is a small village / upper class suburb of London near Windsor. It is named after a large man-made lake of that name in Great Windsor park. A sort of pensioner’s paradise and rich man’s abode, in this town, property agent’s windows display lists many property prices in the range of 2.5 million pounds.

Devarayana Durga, 60 Kms away from Bangalore via Dobbspet on the Tumkur road has two Narasimhar temples on a hill. It is a nice drive thru a reserve forest area and looks great (green) after the rains, especially if you take the longer drive via Tumkur.
